4. FIRST-AID MEASURES
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Center Skin Contact: Remove any contaminated clothing, shoes and leather goods. Gently wipe off excess chemicals. Wash skin thoroughly with mild soap and water.
Seek medical advice if necessary. Persons who become sensitized may require specialized medical management with anti-flammatory agents.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush the eyes with gently flowing lukewarm water or sodium bicarbonate solution for 20 – 30 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Inadequate irrigation may increase irritation. Do not use Boric Acid.
Ingestion: Ingestion of large quantities: induce vomiting or empty stomach by aspiration and lavage. Demulcents such as milk or egg white should be given freely.
Inhalation: Remove from source of contaminated to open space/fresh air, maintain respiration. Administer 100% humidified supplement oxygen with assisted ventilation as required.
Note to Doctor: treat symptomatically and supportively.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: 208 Deg. C
Extinguishing media: Water, carbondioxide, dry powder or alcohol-resistant foam.
Special firefighting procedures:
Fight fire from maximum distance. Remove container from fire area if possible. Contain fire control agents for later disposal.
Flame, static electricity or friction spark readily ignites dust suspended in the air. Every reasonable step must be taken to minimize dust formation. Dust tight casings should be equipped with explosion relief vents. Sparkless electrical equipment must be grounded or bonded to avoid static electricity.
Keep away from sources of flame or sparks.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spills: Do not use metal shovels or brooms. Take up in dry state without forming dust (dampen if necessary) into disposal containers.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Storage: Store in the closed, original container in a well ventilated area and as cool as possible. Do not store for long periods in direct sunlight.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Personal Protection: Use of safety goggles recommended. Chemical resistant protective gloves, hard hat and safety shoes are recommended to prevent prolonged skin contact. Do not wear leather clothing.
Exposure Control: Emergency eyewash and washing facilities must be readily available.

Ingestion: Relatively non-toxic. It can be taken in fairly large doses without injury.
Inhalation: May irritate mucous membranes of respiratory passages.
Irritant effects: Slight sensitizer
